This post is going to be very interesting. I run across a lot of things over the internet and most of it is usually creepy but the following one is almost certainly fairly great. Material such as this will make it simple to get the weblog kept up to date. I am certain you will get a kick out of this hammock post. Let me know if you agree.

Q&A:
Question by person: How can I persuade my parents to let me have a hammock in my room, and how can I safely connect it to my walls
it might sound weird, but I REALLY want a hammock above my bed in my room. I have the perfect one picked out and everything, but my parents don’t want me to get one because “a bedroom isn’t the place for a hammock”. they said if I had a bigger room with more space, I might be able to get one. the way I want it is above my bed between the two walls. I have secured all of their concerns, like the price, safety, and space, but they insist I shouldn’t have one, and they really don’t give me any reason. finally they told me they just don’t see HOW to get it connected securely to the wall. they beat me there, but when I asked “if I can find a way to safely attach it, can I have one?” my mom just said “I’d like to see you find a way” and then implied she won’t have an answer for me until I can assure her that it’s realistic to attach a hammock to the walls in my bedroom. PLEASE help me find a way to attach this thing and support my weight safely. also, any help on persuading them?
will the studs be strong enough to hold the hammock? and I don’t need for it to swing back and forth, I just want it as something to lie in and read, play DS, just chill, whatever.
do you mean 5 feet off the bed, or the ground? I think a fall straight down to the bed wouldn’t be very painful, hence the reason I want it over my bed.

Make sure you have it secured in the wall studs, the 2×4’s in the walls. It would be better to hang it from the ceiling, finding the rafters above the ceiling to secure it too. Make sure they are weight lifting rafters. But your mother is right about not enough space. How are you going to swing it back and forth?
